What are the main Umrah updates for Muslims?

For the first time, people are seeing compelled to search for the best way to do Umrah in 2020. Because Umrah is ban due to Coronavirus in this year. Nobody Know when this opportunity will be gotten in future.

With observing update news related to Umrah, now people are seeing a little bit upset to see the list of new affected persons with Coronavirus. Some of them think that they may not be succeeded in performing Hajj 2020.

But they should never think about more Corona because it is just an epidemic that will be ended in future and Allah will help us to invent the antidote against it. (Insha Allah)

So, if we lose the chance of Umrah in Ramadan or Hajj then we should prepare ourselves for the next moment. I hope after the end of Hajj season 2020, Saudi Arabia had been changed some of the policies for performing Umrah. The Saudi government wants to remove all the obstacles which often people were faced.

Already Saudi Arabia changed their major steps to get Umrah Visa like Umrah e visa. When an epidemic disease spread in a society or country then it does not mean that it has happened for all time, no, medical scientists or pharmacist start to search a cure against this such as they developed the vaccines against the Plague, Dengue, TB, etc.

I read a news that Saudi Arabia will open the gates of Kingdom for Umrah Pilgrims on 31st March 2020. But this is a news and ratio of affected people will never permit to reopen the gate of Kindom for pilgrims or tourists on 31st March.

First of all, I want to tell people how I chose a package in 2020 for the sacred journey. Nowadays, I was looking for Best Cheap Umrah packages on Google because it is a great search engine. I just typed the Umrah package on the search bar and found 10 top results because of the nature of this search engine. After examining the first ten results, I found a lot of packages out there.

So the package is a great way to complete any trip as it can provide you with cheap flights, transportation and accommodation. If someone wants to get an Umrah Guide, then the travel agency can also arrange for you an Umrah Guide. I do not get any news at this time that Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will more update the implementing new visa policies.

There are three important updates for Umrah visitors that had implemented already in the starting period of 2020.

1) 2000SAR Extra charge eliminated
2) Issuance of Umrah e-visa
3) Visiting other cities

1) 2000SAR Extra charge eliminated

In the past, if a Muslim wanted to perform a second Umrah after the first in 2 years then he/she would have to pay some additional fees 2000 SAR. According to the new policy, this is not mandatory for us. This time the Saudi government has fixed a visa fee of 300 SARs for each person and people can carry out multiple Umrah in a year at their custom.

2) Issuance of Umrah e-visa

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched an E visa program in 49 countries. E-Visas means electronic visas. This new visa system has replaced the old system, which was based on paperwork. It was a rule that a candidate could not submit his Umrah visa directly to the Saudi Embassy or Consulate.

3) Visiting other cities

The city of Jeddah is closer to Mecca than to others. According to Google Maps, the distance between Jeddah and Makkah is 40 km and 89 km from the road. The distance between Madinah to Mecca is 451.2 km. Most people choose the city of Jeddah to reach Saudi Arabia.

In the past, people could not visit cities other than Mecca, Medina, and Jeddah, as this was the ruling for Umrah pilgrims. Currently, this rule is broken. People can now travel to other cities of the country during the journey to Umrah by obtaining a tourist visa.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to carry out a package for this trip. I was confused about what the best way to do Umrah this year before knowing the best travel agency. Then Allah helped me find the best agency, and I found a travel agency in the UK called the Labbaik Hajj Umrah.

All world Muslims should pray to Allah eliminate the Coronavirus immediately. And we start again to visit Allah's house and the Tomb of Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) in the coming days. (Ameen)

Why December Is Called The Best Month To Perform Umrah

The Arabic word Umrah means "to visit a populated place." In Islam, Umrah is a journey to the house of Allah which can be taken at any time of the year.

Hajj and Umrah are both deep spiritual journeys. Although the purpose and outcome of these trips are different. Hajj is obligatory for every Muslim who can perform it physically, financially, and mentally while Umrah is a voluntary pilgrimage that Muslims undertake out of love and devotion for Allah.

Most Muslims choose to do Umrah with Hajj. By The Way, the priority of doing Umrah during fasting month is that the importance of doing Umrah in Ramadan is much more than performing in any other month.

The Holy Prophet said:

“When the month of Ramadan arrives, go for ‘Umrah, because `Umrah in Ramadan is like accompanying me on Hajj.”

If you are planning to do Umrah this year, the month of Ramadan is almost upon us, and at this stage, it is really difficult for you to do Umrah in Ramadan. If you ask me, I would advise you to go with the December Umrah packages or wait until next year if you want to do this in Ramadan. Wondering why December? Here are the reasons for choosing Umrah Packages 2020 in December.

The weather of Saudia Arabia

For a good part of the year, Saudi Arabia is hot. After 9 months, the winter season will again start, i.e. December and January. It is wise for Muslims who are not used to hot weather and this statement is for those who live in Europian Countries.

Therefore December is the best selection to perform Umrah. The winter in Saudi Arabia is not the same as the European winter. It's not like there will be snow everywhere and the water will freeze when you throw it away. Even at night, the temperature rarely drops below 0 ° C.

No Hassle

You must have seen some videos of the pilgrims that they had a chance to kiss the black stone (al-Hajar al-Aswad). If you travel in December you will not have to go through all this struggle. December is no hassle and you perform all the rituals effortlessly.

You may have noticed that people regret not spending enough time in any sacred place. If they did this trip in December, they probably wouldn't regret it anymore. The thing is, it's not too crowded at this time of year.

Hotels-Rates

Hotel prices are relatively low in December. You can find a comfortable room with a nice view, at a reasonable price. Let's imagine for a moment, what a great time it will be when you look at "House of God" from the window of your restroom. Is there a sight anything bigger than that?

So here it is. I think I have given you enough reasons to please do Umrah in December 2020. The weather will be pleasant, there will be no hassle and the rates are reasonable.

Of course, there is no alternative to doing Umrah during the month of Ramadan, but this is the Second great option. Hotel rates are relatively low in December. You can get a comfortable room with a great view, at a reasonable price. Imagine standing in your window and seeing the House of Allah. Is there a sight greater than that?

Who were 4 daughters of the Prophet (PBUH)?

Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) was born around 570, AD in Makkah (Saudi Arabia). He was the first and only son of Abdullah Bin Al-Muttalib and Amina Bint WahabAbdulah (r.a) died before the birth of Muhammad (PBUH).

Halimah al-Sa'diyah (r.a) was the foster-mother and wet-nurse of the Prophet (PBUH). Your grandfather took care of your upbringing after passing Bibi Amina (r.a). But when you got the age of 8 years, then your grandfather also died, after that your uncle took up the responsibility of raising you. At the age of 25 years, Muhammad (PBUH) married Khadija (r.a).

6 children were born from Khadija (r.a), 2 of whom were sons and 4 daughters.

Names of the Daughters of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). There are four daughters of prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Fatima Bint Muhammad

 Ruqaiya Bint Muhammad

Zainab Bint Muhammad

Umm Kulthum Bint Muhammad

Fatima Bint Muhammad

Fatima (r.a) was the youngest daughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). You were married to your father's cousin - Ali ibn e Talib (r.a). You were the mother of two great martyrs of Islam, Hassan and Hussain.

She married to the cousin of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)'Ali bin Abi Talib and was the mother of the great martyrs of Islam, Hassan and Hussnain. You had given birth to four children whose name were Hassan, Hussain, Zainab, Umm Kulthum. The main reason for the death of Bibi Fatima was separation from her father-Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), and almost every sect believe in it.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated:Fatima is part of me, Whatever upsets her upsets me, and whatever harms her harms me.” (Muslims Shareef)

Bibi Fatima (r.a) died three months after the death of her father, Muhammad.

 Ruqaiya Bint Muhammad

She was born three years after the birth of  Zainab (r.a) when Muhammad was 33 years old. She was married to the son of Abu Lahab, Utbah, who was Muhammad's uncle. It had not yet begun to stay with him when the Surah al Lahaab was revealed. Abu Lahab called his sons Utaibah and Utbah (who was married to another daughter- Ummah Kulsoom, of the Prophet of Islam, and said to them: "Unless you divorce both of Muhammad's daughters. I am not going to see your faces."

They divorced their wives. After this divorce, Hazrat Ruqaiya (r.a) married Hazrat Usman (r.a).
At the time of Badr, Hazrat Ruqaiya (r.a) was ill. Usman (r.a) was, therefore, asked by the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)  to stay in Madina and look after her (daughter). The news about the victory in Battle of Badr was received in Madina when people were returning from Ruqaiya’s (r.a) funeral because she was died due to illness. The Prophet  (PBUH)  was, therefore, not present at her burial.

Zainab Bint Muhammad

Hazrat Zainab was the eldest daughter of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and was born in the 5th year of his first marriage. After the announcement of Prophethood, Hazrat Zainab bint Muhammad (r.a) soon accepted Islam and was cousin married to her cousin Abul Aas bin Rabi.

At the time of migration. Zainab (r.a) went to her father Prophet (PBUH) and asked him for permission to stay with her husband (Abul Aas bin Rabi). The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) replied, “Stay with your husband and children”.

Umm Kulthum Bint Muhammad

She was 3rd daughter of the Prophet Mohammad (Peace Be Upon Him). She was married to Utaibah son of Abu Lahab, but her husband divorced her (r.a) after the revelation of Surah Al- Lahab.

After the death of Hazrat Ruqayia (r.a), Hazrat Umme Kulsum (r.a) was also married to Hazrat Uthman (r.a) in Rabi-ul-Awwal, 3 A.H. The Prophet Mohammad (SAW) said:I have given Umme Kulsum in marriage to Uthman by command."

She died issueless in Shaaban (8th Islamic month), 9 A. H.

All daughters of Prophet were great defenders of Islam who was never left behind in the promotion of Islam. They sacrificed their lives and even children too only for religion. They were all great leaders to follow the path of life for women and are. Never anyone of us can take place of them. How Muslims Celebrate the Rabi al Awwal?

Rabi al Awwal is 3rd Islamic Month it is an important month for Muslims due to Mawlid which means the birthday of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Debates between several scholars about the exact date of birth but all accepted the month of birth was Rabi al Awwal.  According to the Gregorian calendar, the birth date was 20th April.

Allah says in the Holy Quran about His Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him):

Verily, in the Prophet of Allah, you have a good example for him who looks to Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah much.”

In the Arabic language, the word Rabi means “spring” and al Awwal means “the first”, therefore, the meaning of complete word Rabia al-Awwal is “The first spring”, but the starting and ending dates of month change in Islamic lunar calendar, sometime Rabi al-Awwal comes in winter, spring, summer, and autumn, therefore this meaning can’t be related to the actual season rather you can realize here that the advent of happiness comes after the dismal winter symbolically.

Most Important Events in Rabi al-Awwal:

8th Rabi al Awwal, the death of Imam Hassan Al-Askari (11th Imam of Shia Islam)
28th Rabi al Awwal, the death of Abu Talib (RA) who was the uncle of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
12th Rabi al Awwal, Muslims celebrate Eid Milad ul Nabi
10th Rabi al Awwal, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) married Hazrat Khadijah (RA).
9th Rabi al Awwal, Eid e Shuja (Shia sect of believers celebrate this day)
18th Rabi al Awwal, the birth of Umm Kulthum bint Ali
13th Rabi al Awwal, Death of Beloved wife of Imam Hussain (Bibi Rubab)
17th Rabi al Awwal, Muslims celebrate the birthday of the Imam Jaffar Sadi
The building of Quba mosque (first mosque in the Islam) and the migration (Hijra) also took place in this month.

Commonly this event is celebrated on 12th or 17th of Rabi al Awwal. Different country’s Muslims celebrate this month in different ways but the idea behind all celebrations is the same though.

How Muslims Celebrate Rabi al Awwal?

Most Muslims want to celebrate this month and especially the birthday of Prophet (PBUH) in the area of Madina and Makkah during the performing of Umrah. Now this year 2019, Rabi al-Awwal will start from 18 October and it will end on the 19 October according to Umm Al-Qura calendar of Saudi Arabia, therefore, this may be proved a peak season for Umrah but Muslims can perform Umrah this year with Cheap Umrah Packages 2020 with Flights.

Residents of Pakistan and its surrounding countries celebrate this event by arranging the Islamic concerts in which scholars describe the role of Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) that how he led humanity from darkness to light. Muslims generally put various colored lights on streets, roads, and their homes and some of them put the green flags on homes and offices due to the green color of Dome of Masjid Nabvi. Muhammad (PBUH) was the Last Prophet and Messenger of Allah and Allah revealed the Holy Quran on His beloved Prophet (PBUH). Despite different miracles, Muhammad (PBUH) was a man, a human being.

Approximately, 7 billion people live on the planet and there is no place in the world where Muslims community does not exist. In Europe and the West, Muslims celebrate this event and month by talking about the life of Muhammad (PBUH) and His teachings.

In the areas of such parts of the world, Islam is not dominant as it is dominant in Asia and the Middle East. There is a lack of Islamic organizations to learn about Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Europe and West.

In fact, the best way to celebrate Rabi al Awwal is to honor Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s teachings. Prophet (PBUH) always emphasized the importance of helping others and carrying out charity work.

Rather, he (PBUH) said every one to allow his Camel to go her own way for “she is guided by Allah” and his camel knelt on the place where Al-Nabvi Mosque is placed today, therefore, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) decided to stay at the place and Al-Nabvi Mosque was built.

At the construction time, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) allocated a separate space with cool shelter for passengers and those who had no place to go and this action of Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) gives us the lesson of kindness and sharing.

This mosque worked as a center for preaching Islam. At that time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), people offered their prayers and got knowledge in this mosque and after gaining knowledge, people traveled to other countries for preaching.

In the one Hadith, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) stated:

Do not prepare yourself for a journey to any mosque (in term of prayers) but the 3 mosques al-Haram Mosque, al-Aqsa Mosque, and my Mosque
(Bukhari: No. 1115)

In Another Hadith Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said:

One Prayer in my mosque is better than 1000 prayers in any other mosque excepting al-Haram Mosque”.

In one Hadith, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said:

Anyone who comes to visit me and he came solely for this the purpose then It becomes Wajib upon me to do intercession for him on the Day of Judgment”.

Uhud- A Mountain from the Mountains of Paradise

Mount Uhud is a famous mountain in Saudi Arabia which is located in the north of Madina. Uhud mountain consists of a group of mountains that enlarges from the east to the west with a length of “7” km. Its width is about 3km and it is at a distance of 5km from the Al-Nabvi Mosque.

A Hadith about Uhud Mountain is reported by Hazrat Ans (RA), in which Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) stated:

Uhud is a mountain that loves us & we love it.

Most of Muslims visit this mountain in Madina when they perform Umrah because it is a Ziyarah Place which is included in their Umrah Packages all inclusive. When anyone visits this mountain then he/she will find many monuments on the mountain such as there are graves of seventy companions who are martyred in the Battle of Uhud. Sayyid Ash Shuhada Shrine is also located on the mountain of Uhud and it was a title of Hazrat Hamza (RA).

Another Hadith about Uhud Mountain which is mentioned in Hadith Books of Al-Bukhari, Abu Dawood, and Tirmidhi.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated:

Stand still Uhud, there is a prophet, an honest man and 2 martyrs.

In Islamic history, there was fought a great war between the Makkah’s atheists and Madina’s Muslims. This battle took place near this mountain. In the Battle, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) assigned the duty of fifty archers at the side of the mountain. But Muslim archers leave this side of the mountain while Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) strictly order to stay there.

The force of Polytheists attacked the Muslims from behind due to archers descended from the Point of Uhud Mountain.

Due to a slight mistake, seventy Muslims were martyred in this battle. In this battle, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) lost his beloved uncle Hazrat Hamza (RA).

Mount Uhud was used in many examples:

The Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) stated about the legs of Ibn Masood (RA):
By Him in whose Hand my soul is, they are heavier in the scale than Mount Uhud.
                                 (At-Tayaalisi)

The Messenger (PBUH) of Allah said:
If you had an amount of gold equal to that of Mount Uhud and you spent it in the way of God, God would not accept it from you until you believe in fate. (Ahmad)

It would not please me to have an amount of gold equal to that of Mount Uhud and die while having 1 or 1/2 a dinar of it except for a creditor.” (Ad-Daarimi)

In order to show the reward of Funeral prayer, the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) stated:
The 1 who performs the Funeral Prayer will get a Qiraat, and the 1 who witnesses it until the dead is buried will get 2 Qiraats. By Him in whose Hands the soul of Muhammad (PBUH) is, the Qiraat is greater than this Uhud. (Ibn Maajah).
